Now the AZ5 Heavy Duty Tripod has a higher load capacity compared to the previous AZ5 tripod. This heavy duty tripod can hold up to 9kg's OTA. The SkyWatcher AZ5 Heavy Duty Mount is the mount suitable for light visual astronomy and terrestrial observation.
The mount features a high performance 96 tooth Altazimuth & Altitude worm gear drive set. Utilising flexible slow-motion cables and a standard dovetail bar connection for easy mounting of your telescope. The AZ5 heavy duty mount also features a mount rotation angle of 360° for Azimuth and -50° to +90° for Altitude. The AZ5 heavy duty mount comes fitted with an extendable steel tripod with accessory tray.
