The Celestron SkyProdigy 102 Computerised Refractor Telescope is simply, amazing. It has everything that you could possibly dream for in a telescope. A combination of high quality optics, electronic motors, an intelligent on-board computer, a digital camera and StarSense™ technology is what makes this telescope so unique. These features allow you to simply turn it on, push a button and start your astronomical viewings.
This fully automatic telescope integrates an imaging camera with the patented StarSense technology which gives it the ability to automatically align with the stars in the night sky. It saves you the trouble of setting up and aligning every time you move, giving you more time viewing the night sky. This feature is extremely useful when you need to move your position or location often. The Celestron SkyProdigy 102 Computerised Refractor Telescope also boasts of high imaging quality from its 102mm refractor telescope. Automatic alignment process only takes a few minutes, and afterwards you’ll be ready to select from thousands of objects in its database to view. With the Sky Tour feature you can start choosing from a customized list of objects in the sky that are ready. No knowledge of the night sky is required. With the built in imaging camera and patented StarSense Technology, it will automatically align itself with the night sky and determine where you are at. Once the location is known, the user can select any celestial object in the database, and your telescop will automatically point itself in the right direction. With all the features that you will need to start as an astronomer, it comes as no surprise that the SkyProdigy range has won many awards in 2011 for its design and engineering. Celestron SkyProdigy 102 Computerised Refractor Telescope Features: - Fully Automatic Alignment Procedure - Fully Computerized Altazimuth Mount - Quick-Release Fork Arm Mount and Optical Tube for Easy, Quick No Tool Set Up - Sturdy Stainless Steel Tripod and Accessory Tray - Battery Pack Providing Over 30 hours of Power -“The SkyX – First Light Edition” astronomy software with a 10,000 object database, printable sky maps and 75 enhanced images *SkyProdigy’s internal camera does not have an external output allowing users to view or save captured images. Shipping costs are charged by either dead weight or cubic weight (whichever is greater).
Dead weight = The actual weight of the item. Cubic weight = L x W x H (Meters) x Cubic Conversion Rate (250).

Multiply the height x length x width = 0.35 x 0.65 x 0.4 = 0.091 m³ (Cubic Measurement)
To convert 0.091 m³ to a weight in kilograms: Multiply 0.091m3 x 250 (Cubic Conversion Rate) = 22.75 kg
