The Celestron Deluxe Handheld Digital Microscope is a great handheld microscope for teens as well as adults for education, discovery, work and fun.
This innovative design allows you to view specimens or objects on a computer screen and allows you to take snapshot images or hi-res short videos. A rugged, metal stand is included for holding the microscope steady at various positions for viewing and/or imaging. It features a 2.0MP imaging sensor and an 8-LED illumination ring, a 10-150x magnification range, and a coarse focusing ring. The polycarbonate body is compact, lightweight, and ergonomic. It also comes with a transparent polymer bezel to protect the lens and the LEDs from dust and damage and a push button on the tailcap to capture data.
The microscope is also ideally suited for examining objects such as coins, stamps, rocks, relics, insects, plants, gems, circuit boards, various materials, skin, and many other objects. You can examine specimen slides at low and high powers.
