Celestron CGEM II 925 Telescope features the high-end 9.25" Schmidt Cassegrian OTA pairing with the brand new CGEM II mount. The optical tube has a large aperture and f/10 focal ratio. It also comes with Celestron's StarBright XLT optical coatings, allowing better light transmission through the optical path and improves color rendition, contrast, sharpness, resolution, and brightness.
Meanwhile, the Celestron CGEM II mount has a new, attractive, bold appearance and is capable of carrying Celestron’s higher-end SCT optical tubes (up to 18kg payload) securely and vibration free which - ideal for both imaging and visual observing. It has a robust database with over 40,000 objects, 400 user-defined programmable objects and enhanced information on over 200 objects. Simply select the object from the hand controller and the mount will do the job for you. The latest innovative All-Star polar alignment procedure allows users to choose any bright star, while the software calculates and assists with polar alignment. It is a great choice for the adventurer with its high portability without compromising the image resolution and tracking precision.
