The SkyWatcher 150mm Solar Filter for Maksutov Telescopes, allows you to do solar observations safely. Attach it securely over the front of your telescope to filter and reflect harmful rays from the Sun. It then lowers the intensity of the light making it observable through your scope.
This SkyWatcher Solar Filter has the optical performance of high quality plane-parallel glass filters. Double-sided metal coatings are uniformly distributed along the film’s surface ensuring good color balance across the entire field from edge to edge.

It is completely safe and durable. The film transmits 1/100,000 of visible light (.001%) while reflecting (blocking) 99.999%of unwanted light.
